John F. Kennedy assassination Posted 9/5/09		Dallas Elm Street at the assassination place.22 November 1963 president John F. Kennedy was shot in Dallas.The Panorama is taken just in front of the place where he was hit the second time.The red building to the left is the Texas School Book Depository where the rifle Lee Harvey Oswald used was found on the 6th floor.The second panorama shows the JFK Memorial in Dallas
Space Shuttle launch Florida		DISCOVERY LAUNCH FLORIDA STS-119 - Cape Canaveral, Florida. Space shuttle Discovery launched March 15, 2009 at 7:43 p.m. EDT, carrying a crew of seven and the final set of power-generating solar arrays to the International Space Station. BARRINGER METEORITE CRATER		The Meteor Crater is located in Arizona 43 miles (69 km) east of Flagstaff. It is also named Barringer Crater after Daniel Barringer who who in 1903 claimed that the crater was produced by a meteorite impact. The crater is still today privately owned by the Barringer family.His claims was not proven until 1960 when astro scientist Eugene M. Shoemaker could confirm Barringer's hypothesis due to some special minerals found in the crater.It is supposed to be between 20,000 to 50,000 years old.The Diameter of the crater is 4,100 feet (1.2 km and it is 570 feet (173 m) deep.rpa.The highest point on the rim is 5,723 feet (1,744 m) above sea level
Jefferson Memorial		JEFFERSON MEMORIAL WASHINGTON D.C. Thomas Jefferson was the third president of the United States and he was the principal author of the Declaration of Independence (1776). The Memorial which was designed by John Russell Pope is located in the West Potomac Park, the beautiful park which is famous for the Japanese Cherry Trees , a gift of the people of Japan in 1912 The building was completed in 1942. Monument Valley		MONUMENT VALLEY Monument Valley is part of the Colorado Plateau at the border of Utah and northern Arizona. Monument Valley is probably the world's most well known view of the western USA . It has been used in hundreds of western movies like My Darling Clementine (1946) Rio Grande (1950) Forrest Gump (1994) and many others since the 1930's Also music videos from Metallica and videogames from Playstation 3 Motorstorm and the NES game Rad Racer II has used the amazing views of the valley. Goldfield Ghost-town Arizona		GOLDFIELD GHOST TOWN In the 1890's Goldfield was a growing town based on the Mammoth Gold Mine. It had 3 saloons, a boarding house, general store, blacksmith shop, brewery, meat market and a school house. However the gold ore dropped and the town died even if several attempts was done to reopen the mines. In 1926 it finally died and became a ghost town. LINK: www.goldfieldghosttown.com
Grauman's Chinese Theatre		Grauman's Chinese Theatre Grauman's Chinese Theatre is a movie theater in Hollywood, famous for the footprints, handprints and autographs by nearly 200 film stars. The first ones of which you see some in the front of the panorama are from 1927 when the theatre also opened featuring the premiere of Cecil B. DeMille's film The King of Kings.
